Happy Halloween and Happy Monday!
I hope everyone has a fun and safe Halloween! Fortunately or unfortunately, I am playing softball tonight instead of joining in the festivities in Fells Point. I heard the streets close at 5pm in Fells Point so get over there early and enjoy!
I also wanted to say how sad I am that the Mt Washington Tavern burned down early this morning. It is an iconic landmark and the historic building which this wonderful restaurant subsides in is a total loss. My best wishes that they can rebuild and hopefully all of the employees will be o.k. financially and emotionally! I know it is hard on them and the loyal customers. I was just in there last Thursday for the amazing Happy Hour which included free oysters on the half shell! I will miss the friendly staff and look forward to when they can re-open. Good luck!

This is so upsetting. My friends and I used Mt. Washington Tavern as a meetup spot a few times a year to catch up on our lives. It was our favorite place to get together.
